DEBATE CAMP
What is Debate Camp?
Students will learn the basic terminology and concepts of debate, practice debate skills through games and practice rounds, begin learning about and discussing the resolutions for the current year.
*A parent will need to attend on Thursday afternoon and Friday all day. Thursday will be an information session. Friday will be for judging practice rounds. If you cannot attend, please contact Robin Axelberd to discuss your situation.
When and Where is Debate Camp?
Debate camp will be held August 2-6 9:00AM - 3:00PM - Rising Church 710 Power Ave Buford, GA 30518. Please note that we may finish earlier than 3:00 on some days if the material has been covered for the day. A parent will need to attend on Thursday afternoon and Friday all day. How Much Does Camp Cost?
$50 for first student, $25 for each additional student.
What Do I Need to Bring?
Students should bring a pad of paper, preferably legal size, pens, a laptop if available, a refillable water bottle with name clearly labeled, sack lunch (unless we decide to order as a group)
